About Swim Practice - What to Expect
Regular Practices:
We encourage swimmers to attend practice as frequently as possible. We’ll work on stroke technique and endurance for all levels of swimmers, and we’ll have a healthy amount of fun along the way.
We run two practice groups for daytime practices, one for swimmers 10 & under and one for swimmers 11 & older. Evening practices provide an additional option for swimmers who can’t make daytime practices or want to get in some additional practice after a daytime practice. Evening practices are offered twice per week, and we combine all age groups for these sessions.
Please remember to bring goggles and a water bottle!
Fun Friday
Fun Friday is held each Friday during the season at the same time as our daytime practices. Fun Friday activities will vary from week-to-week and may be in or out of the water.
Technique Clinics
Wednesdays are typically meet days, and we run an optional 1-hour clinic on these days in place of our regular practice schedule. These sessions are for all age groups, and we’ll focus primarily on stroke technique, starts & turns.
