Welcome to Shongum Swim!

There are a few updates as we prepare for our Swim Team season, so please read on...

1. The swim team apparel store will close on Monday, June 1st. Please order your spirit wear asap, so you don't miss out! 

2. We are going to have a Cleanup Day at the swim lanes on Wednesday, June 3rd from 5-7pm. Many hands make light work, so stop by to help out if you can. This would count as one of your volunteer requirements.

3. Registration is still open! Anyone interested in joining the swim team for the 2026 season can register here.

4. If you didn't get a new uniform swim suit at our open house, you can go to California Beach Hut in Denville and let them know you are a part of the Shongum Lake team. They will get you set up with the correct uniform. If you already know your size, you can also order here.  Swim caps are available at the same link.

5.  We request that each family donate something to our snack stand, which is a big fundraiser for our team.  Click here for more details. 

6.  Our season will begin with evaluations & practice on June 9th and June 11th.  You can see all event times and dates on Swimtopia.

7.  The date for our Intrasquad Meet has changed to Tuesday, June 16th.  Please see the note below from Mollye Morgan about our pizza party to kick off the season:

Our first big event is the Intrasqaud Meet on Tuesday, 6/16 at 5:30pm. This is run as a typical meet with just our team. If you are a new swimmer, it's a great way to experience / practice a meet and it's also a great excuse to get the team together to kick off the season! We will celebrate with a pizza party immediately following so please be sure to update your family's availability for both the meet and the pizza party on Swimtopia.
