Hi All,

If you haven't RSVP ed / committed your swimmer for the Picnic and Raid on Wednesday July 24^th, please commit them by 5pm Monday July 22nd in SwimTopia. Your family is invited to attend, please add family members via the RSVP in SwimTopia. I have added images from the app to help you below. We will need the final count by Sunday as we plan to order food.

The annual 11 and Under Picnic and Raid for those of you who are new to the team this is a very fun, time-honored tradition, for all the swimmers.

The 11& Under and their families gather on the beach for a picnic at 6:30 pm. After eating dinner and strategizing, the older swimmers descend on the beach to raid the younger swimmers. Parents are welcomed to lend a hand as the water balloon and shaving cream battle begins. For younger swimmers who are overwhelmed or scared there will be a safe zone on the gravel area where they can stay. This water balloon battle usually finishes up in half an hour. At this time we ask that everyone help clean up the beach prior to going home.

Younger swimmers(11& under) - can bring water balloons (I usually put ours in a cooler) and shaving cream.

If you have a 12 and over, they will be meeting at Heather Baxter’s house at 6:30. (17 Meadowbrook Rd.) for Pizza and prep!

We need a few volunteers to head back to the lake Thursday morning to clean the beach again and make sure we didn't miss anything. We find as it gets dark we don't always see all of the balloons and other debris left over from the raid.

If you have not RSVP yet please do so we can make sure we order enough food for dinner to for both 11 and under and for 12 and older kids at the Baxter’s.
